We recently stayed at the hotel for a 4-day getaway and enjoyed our experience. It is perfectly located in the French Quarter and only minutes away from iconic Bourbon Street, excellent restaurants and entertainment venues. We found the accommodations well-suited for our getaway. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cleverly decorated and had a touch of romance and unique character. It was a welcomed relief from the normal sterile and boring hotel room. One unique decoration in our room was a brightly painted “storytelling chair” with linear designs. Based on a book in the room about “storytelling chairs” which I perused, I learned such chairs are a thing of pop culture in New Orleans. Additionally, we found the entire staff to be friendly, courteous and helpful. Our hotel experience complimented the wonderful and exciting time we had in New Orleans. We’re already looking forward to our next stay at the La Pension Hotel.
